Kitchen Nightmares

I think Talia is enjoying this kitchen renovation a little more than we are. Yes, it is still a work in progress, so don't ask. Maybe someday we will have a sink, stove, and countertop again. You don't know what you've got until it is gone, that's for sure. Speaking of, has anyone seen Talia? Maybe she is hiding in the cabinets again. Just more proof of what great parents we are!

Super Cousins

Alex and Kara were ready to pounce any enemies that tried to steal Talia's candy, although Alex does not look super happy about it.

Talia went a little bananas this year once she realized that there is no monkeying around when it comes to free candy. Wow, where do I come up with this stuff?

Seriously, How Much Time Do We Spend at This Pumpkin Patch?

Okay, I know, our lives look a little lame when we are at the pumpkin patch nearly every waking moment, but who are you to judge? This is how we roll. We like pumpkins of all shapes and sizes and we aren't afraid to show it. At least we got wise by the last trip and made Talia push her own stroller.

More Pumpkin Mayham

More photos from one of our many trips to the pumpkin patch. As you can see below, Talia just cannot contain her excitement! Every time she sees a pumpkin she says "ahpull"(apple). I know, I know, we are working on it.

Hugs all around

At our first of three trips to the pumpkin patch right down the street from us, Talia ran around giving all of the characters (and even some random children) hugs. Share the love, girlfriend!

Jammin

There is not actually any music coming from those headphones, but Talia likes to jam to her own beat. Once again she is "smiling" for the camera.

Chill out

Talia loves to spend time reorganizing the fridge for mom. This is one of those things I would have never thought I would let her do until realizing that it gives me 5 minutes or more to get other things done. I too was the perfect parent until I actually became a parent.

Boo Boo

When Talia spots a boo boo (she has many to choose from at this point) she says "boo boo" with the most dramatic little whine that you wonder if she will ever heal properly from the experience. Here she has discovered another scar from her clumsy life and is kissing it. Oh to be that flexible again!

Peyton Manning Fan

For Peyton's first game, Christ dressed Talia up in the appropriate garb and we got many cute photos out of the experience. Don't worry, she now has an official jersey! She did many "bouncy butts" on the bed, ran with the football, threw for the touchdown, and did her best to look cute. I don't know if Christ even had time to watch the game with all of Talia's antics, but I don't think he minded. She is enough entertainment for anyone.

No more pictures, PLEASE!

Talia hates having her picture taken. Here she is trying to get the camera away from me and reluctantly "smiling" for yet another shot. Get used to it, Talia. When you look this good, everyone wants to take your picture. Take it from me, I know!

Sick baby

Talia was sick in early September (I know, it's been a while since I've posted) and Christ did everything he could to help out. Here he is sacrificing his day of housework to cater to an impromptu nap Talia needed. Does the hard work of being a father ever stop?

Smile

When asked to smile for the camera, Talia gives it all she's got and this is the result. Who has she seen smiling, cookie monster? We will have to work on this for her modeling campaign. In the last picture she is giving her baby a kiss. So sweet!

Petting Zoo

Talia had a great time in the petting zoo at our local "Party in the Park" aside from the humid 90+ weather. She even had a chance to view the elusive "mommy" species they kept behind a fence to protect the children from kisses.

Work It Girl

Unlike Zoolander, Talia has many different facial expressions to launch her modeling career. I know many of you are wondering why I haven't signed her up for modeling yet, but I don't want to expose her too soon. She is sure to get even better with age. Look at her mother! Her time will come. Let the other babies have their moment for now.
