Blackhawks Game

Talia and Niko enjoyed their first Blackhawks game last week. They both could have done without the loud horn, but the suite, free food, and dessert cart (thanks Yia Yia) were a hit. Talia was so comfortable in the suite that she opted to wear her pajamas! Talia also met the ice dancers, one of whom's name was Talia as well (far right). Talia the dancer was so happy to meet someone with the same name that she signed a photo for Talia the princess.

March Madness

Christ and his brother participated in the MS Half Court Classic again this year at the United Center, so we got some more photo opps on the Bull. Talia, as always, was not shy about posing. Her cousins Kara and Alex were invited to pose with her, and she even stood out of the picture for a moment so that the players could have their photo taken, though not for long.

Bumbo Baby

We got the Bumbo out so that Niko can now enjoy a new vantage point and practice sitting up. Yes, it is purple. We hope that it does not destroy his manly hood. Talia decided to add to the fun by placing a slightly off season hat on his head. I am sure he would smile if his cheeks were not so difficult to lift.

Cheeky Man

As you can see, the camera loves Niko and we love to pose him in ridiculous ways that are sure to embarrass him in later years. That is our job as parents, of course! We hope that his body eventually catches up with his cheeks which are off the charts.

Family and Friends

Niko draws in a number of visitors these days, and Talia quickly lures them away from him with the promise of a tea party or game to divert their attention towards her charms. Niko brings them in, but somehow Talia seems to monopolize most of their time. She still thinks it is all about her, and our guests fall willingly into her trap.

Sibling Rivalry

Talia loves to hold, kiss, squeeze, and talk to her brother, and he is beginning to tolerate her loudness. She still likes to remind him who is top dog around here from time to time with the occasional little jab or dislocated elbow. She is just trying to prepare him for the tough life ahead. Hopefully one day he will be able to stand up to her, but for now he is just quietly plotting his revenge. You'll get yours, Talia!

Flirting With the Ladies

Here Niko is practicing some of his flirtatious looks for mom and running up our phone bill as he keeps in touch with all of the ladies. Right now, Mom is his main squeeze, but he is starting to bat his eyes at other friends as well. Just remember, Niko, mom will always be the #1 lady in your life!
