Apple Pickin'

We went apple picking for the first time this September. Talia was so excited to go as soon as fall arrived. I had been building up the loss of summer by telling her all of the fun things we could do in the fall and apple picking was one of them. Of course, as soon as we got there she was hot, tired, thirsty, and wanted to go home. After the hard labor was over we enjoyed a cup of cool, refreshing apple cider and discovered the play area. Somehow her spirits were lifted and she was able to go on and make the best of the experience.

First Day of Preschool

Talia had her first day of Preschool this September!! What a big girl! She is loving every minute of it and making tons of new friends!

Wisconsin Trip

Talia enjoyed another fun-filled weekend in Wisconsin again this year with Christ and his family. She went boating, woke up at 5:00 in the morning to go fishing, and had fun keeping everyone on their toes.

Sitting Up

Niko enjoyed all of the new possibilities sitting up can offer in July and August. He is such a happy baby who brings joy to our lives every day with his new discoveries!

Goodbye Kiddieland

We went to Kiddieland for Christ's birthday this year and had a great time! We are so sad that it will no longer be there! Talia had a great time and showed no fear as far as rides were concerned. She wanted to go on anything and everything!! Poor Niko will never get the chance to follow in his sister's footsteps as Kiddleland is no longer :-(

Baptism

Niko was baptized (shield your eyes) on July 12th. He seemed to enjoy (or tolerate) most of it but thought the wine tasted a little oaky. Many thanks to all who contributed, especially his loving Nouna and Nounos, Christine and John.

Our Little Juvenile Delinquent

Talia had way too much fun playing in the cop car at the 4th of July Festival. Hopefully she will not have many more experiences in the back seat of such a vehicle, but only time will tell. Anyone taking bets?

Racing Girl

Talia officially learned to pedal her bike just in time for the 4th of July parade this year. Here is her first racing debut. We will not comment on how she placed at this time.

Daddy Daughter Cubs Game

Christ and Talia went to what has become their annual Daddy Daughter Cubs game which just happened to fall on June 12th - the exact same date as last year. I guess we have to keep this up now!!

Many Faces

Christ took a moment in July (yes, we are a little behind) to catch some of Niko's many facial expressions. He was 6 months old and as cute as can be. He is working on many more new looks these days, but these are priceless.
