A Million and 1 Uses

Talia loves to help me make dinner by showing me alternate uses for my pans and utensils. Why did we buy those expensive toys?!

Picnic With Daddy

Mommy had a late meeting after work last night so Daddy took charge! I came home to discover them enjoying a picnic on the lawn for dinner. Talia loved it, and I loved the way she was sitting. Once again, Mommy is no fun and daddy takes the cake. Can you see that she has him wrapped around her little finger. Who wouldn't be, really!

Privacy Please

Talia loves to sneak into the bathroom and we are constantly closing the door in her face so that she doesn't get into the many treasures to be found in there. This is a rare moment when she actually slipped past us and then proceeded to close the door in our faces. Touche!

Talia + Excersaucer = TLA

Talia has ignored her excersaucer for months and would scream when we tried to put her in it, but she has since discovered the joys of bouncing in it and has rekindled their friendship.

Splish Splash

Talia styled her own hair with the help of some food the other day, so mommy decided it was time for a bath. While in the tub, mommy played around with some alternate hairstyles, and Talia enjoyed some vigorous splashing!

Snow in April?

I thought we were done with this stuff but we woke up the morning of April 11th with a white coating over everything. Talia remembers a few weeks ago when we were outside every chance we had and continues to point to the door longingly saying "bye" as she waves. It is hard to explain to her that it is too cold to swing or slide in the park. She just thinks we are neglectful parents who don't give two hoots for what she wants. Little does she know that our world revolves around her wants and needs. Welcome to parenthood!

Cool Hat

This weather definitely has been a bummer after our 70+ degree days a few weeks ago, but on a positive note, it has allowed Talia more opportunities to wear her spectacular hat given to her by Grandma Diane. Psychedelic, dude!

Little Drummer Girl

Talia loves the new drum Aunt Patty and Uncle Jim got her for Easter. It made an otherwise rough day (fever and diaper rash) more enjoyable. Why is it that Talia always ends up with diaper rash on the major Christian holidays? I would definitely say it was a sign if the rash appeared in the shape of Jesus or the cross.

Easter Dress

Talia looked so pretty in her Easter dress even though she would not let us take the pacifier out (it was a rough day). The dress was chosen for her by her Nouna, Kristie. Incidentally, Talia's Cousin Kara's Nouna chose the same dress for her! Had Talia made it to the midnight service, they would have been twins, but she fared much better at the 11 a.m. service on Easter Sunday.

Another Close Up

Yet again Talia refuses to do much of anything in front of the camera as she would rather take hold of it herself.

Standing

Talia loves standing and cruising around the furniture, but she doesn't like to walk forwards with us holding her hands. She wants to do it all by herself! What a big girl.

Don't Stand Too Close

I know, we are probably burning her eyes and rotting her brain, but Talia loves to bang on the TV as she watches all of the lights and pictures. Dad has told me to keep her away from his precious television, but then I wouldn't have great pictures like this one. Cousin Elinor would be pleased with her choice of program.
