Helen's Wedding

Talia looked like an angel at Helen's wedding but did not always act the part. She made it halfway down the aisle as one of the flower girls, but turned around to run back to Dad when a guest smiled at her. How dare he! Dad then coaxed her back down where she stood at the end of the aisle throwing the rest of her remaining flowers in clumps and demanding that she not move out of the way of the bride until her job was done. Hey, at least she is thorough! Thankfully, she kept her hands off the cake until it had been served to her despite how tempting it looked. Congratulations Auntie Helen and new Uncle Don!

Halloween

Talia spent Halloween trick-or-treating with her cousins. My sister found it ironic that talia was an angel fairy and that the halo kept falling off. What? I think the pictures of the three girls smiling "naturally" together are hilarious. What do we have to give you to get you to smile normally, a bucket of candy? Talia took trick-or-treating to the next level and solicited a boy walking by with his own bucket of candy. I guess the costume worked because he caved! Who knew? Work it girl!

Boo at the Zoo

Talia had a blast at the zoo with her cousins, Dad, and Uncle Nounos! Afterwards she told me about the brown bear who had water dripping from his "butt butt." I guess this was the highlight of the trip but from the look of these
pictures, some other fun may have been had as well.

Pumpkin Patch

We only made it out to the pumpkin patch once this year, unlike last year when we could find nothing better to do with our time. Talia posed with her favorite characters, pushed some random children around (as well as her cousins) and rode the pony after standing in line for too long. That was enough for us! Next year we will buy our pumpkins at the grocery store.

2nd Cubs Game

Our last stop on our Chicago Tour was Talia's 2nd Cubs game. She enjoyed the bleacher crowd, but I did not enjoy dragging her up and down the stairs for potty breaks. We potty trained Talia just in time for our trip, so that added a new dynamic to our vacation. Talia once again aspired to become a professional bucket player although she was a little apprehensive at first about not having as good an audition as on her first attempt. She found her rhythm eventually and was a welcome addition.

Millenium Park

Another stop on our Chicago vacation was Millenium park. Here Talia is discovering (and helping to support) the bean and playing in the water by the fountain. She got a little wetter than we had planned, but she enjoyed herself!

Labor Day Weekend

For Labor Day weekend we made the long journey down to Chicago. The highlight for Talia as always was the hotel, but we did spend time at North Avenue Beach and Navy Pier to take a Ferris Wheel ride and countless merry-go-round rides in between jumping on the bed.

Reunion

The real reason we went to Florida was to visit our first Sonic (so good) and the m&m store. Oh yeah, and then there was the reunion with old high school friends whose families have also grown. Some things change while others amazingly stay the same. Two more members will be joining our group very soon with Meredith ready to deliver the first Abramowski baby literally any day now and myself ready to deliver within the next few weeks.

Sea World 2

More pictures from Sea World. We had to get some of Shamu in there after all. No, that is not Shamu in the pink shirt, that is me at 5 months pregnant. I know, you can hardly tell, but Christ had to take a picture of me next to the Manatee anyway in preparation for months to come. Man, I thought I was showing then. If only I could go back! The whales have nothing on me now!

Sea World

We are a little behind in blog world as some of you frequent visitors (all two of you) may have noticed, so here is a rapid update. In August we took our first airplane adventure (we survived) to Orlando. We stopped at Sea World as one of our major attractions, but all throughout the day Talia kept asking "I go back a hotel room a jump on the bed a be naked baby a little bit?" Why did we spend all this money if that is all it takes to make her happy?
