Too Cute!

This is a sweet moment between Talia and Niko in which she wanted him to sleep in her bed at nap time. He thinks everything to do with Talia is super cool and loved being included. Luckily I got some great shots of this sweet sibling moment!

Swim Lessons

Talia had her first big-girl swim lessons this summer! The class was geared towards getting the children comfortable in the water, and since Talia already dunks herself and "swims" underwater, it was a little bit redundant at times, but she had fun. She passed with flying colors but was told that she needed to listen a little better. Big surprise!!

Happy 1st Birthday Baby Jimmy

Niko's big cousin, Baby Jimmy, turned 1 at the end of May. He seemed to enjoy his party but the big kids certainly enjoyed making the day fun for him by showing him how everything was done! Happy Birthday!

New Game

Talia and Niko discovered a new game that they can both enjoy! Talia runs head on at Niko through the hall and he goes into hysterics watching her descend upon him. Having an older sister around the house does have its perks as I don't think I could entertain him as well as she does!

6th Anniversary

Christ and I celebrated our 6th anniversary on May 24th, and of course, Talia took full advantage of Grandma and Grandpa being over to do as she pleased and bust out the sprinkler! They got some great shots and she braved the not so hot weather for a while at least.

Good Times With Dad

Talia knows Christ is always the one to go to when discovering new sweet treats and fun times. Here is a campfire they enjoyed in late May (complete with smores, of course) and Talia's first slurpy!

So Many Looks, So Little Time

As most of you know, Talia tries out new looks about 17 times a day on average. I especially love the best of both worlds with the basketball princess! The pigtails were a first upon request and they lasted about 2 seconds after the picture documentation was taken. She loves wearing a swimsuit, no matter what the weather and the tutu completes any outfit!

Happy 5 Months, Niko

Our baby boy turned 5 months at the end of April and we are loving the changes in him every day. He is such a laid back and loving addition to our family!

What's a party without sugar?

Talia loved sharing pizza and sweets with her friends after all of that vigorous jumping and climbing. As you can see, she remembered all of her etiquette lessons and ate her cupcake like a lady, just as we taught her!

Talia's Birthday Bash

Talia's 3rd birthday was May 2nd (yes, I know we are behind, but then again, does one really ever catch up with life) and she had a fun party at Pump It Up! Anything to do with bouncing and climbing (not to mention cake and presents) is Talia's cup of tea!

Talia Turns Three

Our beautiful, spirited baby girl turned 3 on May 2nd.  Here is a picture on her actual birthday (before the big party day) after a meal at Portillo's and some delicious chocolate cake to celebrate.  We love you baby girl!  

Water Works

I guess not many good water pictures were taken at the Wilderness as we were all enjoying it too much to dry off and grab a camera.  Here are some of the kids tackling one of the smallest slides they conquered.  And yes, Niko was there too.  He even wore his little bathing suit, but he only attempted the water once, and that was the hot tub.  He preferred to relax by the poolside while all of the ladies swooned over his muscular bod.

Cabin Fever

We had a wonderful Cabin at the Wilderness that slept our entire extended family (on my side).  It was so much fun!!!  We enjoyed grilling out, movies in the media room, nap time, and entertaining the kids...or was it the other way around?  It was nice to have so many adults around to help with that task.  Caitlin even bumped her head into the wall while chasing them around and hurt her leg.  We all had a good laugh at her expense!  After all, what is family for?
