Water Works

I guess not many good water pictures were taken at the Wilderness as we were all enjoying it too much to dry off and grab a camera.  Here are some of the kids tackling one of the smallest slides they conquered.  And yes, Niko was there too.  He even wore his little bathing suit, but he only attempted the water once, and that was the hot tub.  He preferred to relax by the poolside while all of the ladies swooned over his muscular bod.

Cabin Fever

We had a wonderful Cabin at the Wilderness that slept our entire extended family (on my side).  It was so much fun!!!  We enjoyed grilling out, movies in the media room, nap time, and entertaining the kids...or was it the other way around?  It was nice to have so many adults around to help with that task.  Caitlin even bumped her head into the wall while chasing them around and hurt her leg.  We all had a good laugh at her expense!  After all, what is family for?  

Bear Hugs (and Moose)

Our whole family took a trip to the Wilderness Resort at the end of April.  It was great fun and a good opportunity for bonding and driving each other nuts all in one shot!  Talia had fun posing with the animals around the lodge and really cuddled up to Morty Moose.  No Fear!

Great Picture

This is one of my favorite pictures (so far) of my two "angels."  Talia is so full of life and personality and Niko really enjoys watching her many antics.  He is such a sweet and laid back baby, but I wonder how long that will last.  I am sure they will soon be partners in crime!

Greek Easter

Greek Easter was on April 19th and good times were had by all, as usual.  Christ had fun hiding eggs (after he had risen, of course).  Can you see where the egg is hidden in his picture?  Talia had fun finding eggs with her cousins, opening her Easter presents from Nouna and Nounos, and cracking eggs with everyone.

Parade

A parade was held in our community in April to welcome a bag-piping troupe.  As you can see, Talia really enjoyed the loud fire trucks!  She was quite enthused by the buckets of candy being tossed in her direction, hanging with her neighborhood BFF Zoe, and having a hot dog picnic afterwards while taking some impromptu flying lessons!

Derrick Rose

As most of you know, Christ is quite fond of his autographed memorabilia and often drags the children along with him to create lasting memories of waiting in line.  We have so many collectors items, we cannot afford a house big enough to keep them all in!  Here Christ dragged not only Talia and Niko, but myself, Yia Yia, and Helen along to obtain more autographed items of his new MVP Derrick Rose.  Too bad this was before the SAT scandal was brought to light. They are now investigating whether Talia actually took the test for him!  I included a picture as well of Talia and Niko with their most valuable player, Dad!

Just Can't Get Enough

Niko is such a lovey and does not get his equal time on this blog (ah the saga of a second child), so I just had to include some more pictures of our special little guy at 4 months.  He loves to sleep with something soft covering his face just like his father, and as you can see, he is quite good at chillin just like his father.  I guess Christ finally has his Mini-Me!

Solid, Niko

Niko had his first taste of solid food on April 4th, and aside from the hands getting in the way, it was a success!  He has since tried about everything baby food has to offer, and no major complaints yet!

Bunny Bash

Our community hosted a "Bunny Bash" around Easter with games, a petting zoo, an egg hunt, face painting, and more.  Yia Yia and Kara decided to join us for all of the fun.  Talia immediately decided she did not want a whale on her face after much discussion about it leading up to the event and tried to wipe it off after the long wait.  Other than that, it was a blast!

Cozy Kiddos

I just can't get enough of these pictures (as you can see)!  I love it when Talia includes Niko in her imaginative play!  I know these moments will be gone all too soon when Niko starts crawling and getting into Talia's stuff so I will enjoy it while it lasts!
